“ I had a root canal from another dentist many years ago and it started to hurt. Turns out the previous doctor missed a canal. The doctors here found it and cleared it all out.

Also, a few small nice things:
- I sweat more than a normal person, and walking in here it was a little warmer than I liked. I didn't ask for any accommodations but the staff saw I was sweating and lowered the heat for me.
- They have pillows!! Such a small thing, but it made a huge difference on my neck. This is the first time I have had a dentist provide one.
- The moutb piece they put in for protection was the first time I have seen one like this. It made everything so much more comfortable and a lot less suction was required. Made things so fast and smooth.
- The view in the offices are pretty! There are big windows with trees that provide some nice natural light. I saw a little humming bird flying outside the window while I waited.

Overall I am super happy with my experience. The staff are super friendly and everything went smoothly! ”

“ In 2017, I was sent to see Dr. Watts by a dentist who was unable to finish a root canal that he'd started. Dr. Watts fixed me up. Now, 6 years later, my current dentist sent me to Dr Pla for 2 more root canals. Had those yesterday. Everyone I spoke to cringed and felt sorry for me. They all had horror stories about their root canals. Well, those days are in the past. Because of Dr Pla's years of experience, education, technique, and state-of-the-art equipment, my morning yesterday was no worse than a regular visit for a cleaning (except for the anesthetic, ouch). I hope this review isn't too long, but I entered the office with trepidation and left quite amazed at how I felt. Kudos also to the techs and reception staff. 5 stars to all! ”

“ I badly needed a root canal that I'd put off for over a year, with a recent big increase in pain. Dr. Pla's office was very good about getting me in for an evaluation right away. Dr. Pla did something to give me temporary relief and bring the irritation down and I was quickly scheduled for the root canal. The root canal was made more difficult because of the amount of damage due to my delay in treatment. She was very careful to ensure that I was not in pain and that I understood the procedure before during and after the work was done. Before the root canal she had coordinated with my Dentist to ensure what type of filing they wanted her do and prepare for the follow up crown. She called me to see how I was doing the next day. I was feeling much better and have had no problem with that tooth since. Excellent staff, provider and follow up! ”

“ I was referred to Dr. Pla for an emergency root canal procedure, after developing a serious infection. From the moment I stepped into her practice, I was treated professionally and courteously by her staff. After an initial examination, and several inquiries as to my pain/comfort level, I was apprised me of the steps necessary to treat my root canal, the costs I could expect and what my Dental Insurance would cover etc. Dr. Pla saw me and recommended/started treatment immediately. “ I called the office in excruciating pain. The gal that answered the phone was the most pleasant helpful and wonderful to talk to. She immediately triage the call to elevate my pain and got me in the following day because her knowledge told her that I needed a longer appointment in order to get the relief on Friday. So I wasn't left on the weekend crying. I had already been started on antibiotics so it was perfect. Every single technician was so pleasant. Even in between times when the doctor was away the technicians came in to see how I was doing do I need water anything I need. This office could teach so many other places how to treat patients/customers. I can't say enough the Dr. Pla seems like the most humble person. She really cares about her patients. Her staff represents her, and it shows they are happy along with her. Like I told her I am her biggest cheerleader. I have worked in the professional medical field for years never seen anything like this. I was at both the Tacoma and Puyallup office.
